Anger Management and Therapy:

Finding Calm in the Chaos

Anger is a natural human emotion—one we all experience from time to time. It can range from mild irritation to intense rage, and while it’s not inherently bad, unmanaged anger can have serious consequences on our health, relationships, and overall well-being.

When Is Anger a Problem?

Anger becomes problematic when it feels overwhelming, is triggered too easily, or leads to destructive behavior. This might include yelling, physical aggression, passive-aggressive actions, or withdrawing from loved ones. Chronic anger can also contribute to physical health issues like high blood pressure, headaches, and heart problems, as well as mental health struggles such as anxiety and depression.

What Is Anger Management?

Anger management doesn’t mean suppressing your feelings—it means learning how to recognise, express, and channel your anger in healthy and constructive ways. With the right tools and support, it’s possible to respond to frustrating situations with greater calm and control.

• Build emotional resilience and self-awareness

Cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), mindfulness techniques, and somatic approaches can all play a powerful role in managing anger. Don’t feel you can’t make changes & gain control over this powerful emotion. It is possible to be feel calm and content again.
